I think PCs are better bottom line!!!!!!!
Let's just see what would happen if Microsoft just stopped all of their product production for about a week. I think Mac would be left with a decent word processor and much more. Because if you didn't know, Microsoft makes a TON of software for the Mac computers.
Secondly, the Microsoft computers' software is more serious meaning it's products are designed for the business world. Where as, Mac is just merely a toy for the home use. You can also look at it this way, what do most major companies, businesses, colleges, and universities use for their computer systems and networks? If you're looking for a Mac, you will be sadly disappointed.
In conclusion; whenever I use a Mac, I feel limited with what I am able to do. I have a hard time finding files on a Mac verses a PC. On a PC; if I want to find file and I can't remember the name, all I have to do is right click on start and then explore and I have all of the files and folders, that are on the whole computer, at my finger tips.
I hope this broadened you perspective between the two!

I have always had PCs; my husband has MACs (we're a mixed marriage); However, I use a MAC at work, and find that they are very limited when it comes to programs that I can use on the internet and in general seem more convoluted to me. Mac's iPhoto is diabolical...as are many other Mac programs

I accomplish a lot on both PCs and MACs, but just feel more comfortable with a PC. My MAC friends and hubby say that MACs are better for artistic applications and don't have viruses like PCs do. But I still say PCs! (ask a simple question, get a dessertation).

Apples or Oranges? I had it described to me this way. You have two cars. One is a Mac which is completely reliable, but can't navigate all the roads. The other, a PC, can go anywhere but often breaks down. I'd go with the Mac even though I currently run a PC. My nephew has a Mac and used to own a PC. He says Mac is far and away a better computer.

I have both so I can say from personal experience the Mac is 10 times better than a PC. I bought my parents a Mac after years of them complaining about thier PC's. They aren't internet savvy and would download all sorts of bad things, they would delete the wrong thing, the printer didn't work, the network would go down, and it was generally a headache. Now they have a Mac and they hate it, but I love it because it works and I dont' have to deal with them.

This is like asking, does God exist? I suppose each and every sort of laptop has its certain advantages. However, I have by no means bought an Apple simply in view that they cost two times or 3 instances as so much for the identical hardware add-ons. So I seem at it this fashion...do I desire to spend 2 or 3 instances as so much cash on a difficult disk or reminiscence or something, or spend one million/two or one million/third that quantity and get MORE laptop for the identical sum of money? Plus, I can consistently improve my add-ons, due to the fact I construct my possess desktops - that you are not able to do with a Mac - you're caught with their proprietary hardware and you're caught with their proprietary enhancements. If you're a penny pincher like me who needs the largest bang for the greenback, you'll BUILD YOUR OWN PC COMPUTER. That is the right way to do it, so far as I am involved. But should you simply need to have clothier apparel, and force a Mercedes, then get a Mac.

Since I have and use both, I can only say that they each have their pros and cons. The Mac is very user friendly and awesome to use for graphics programs. One the other hand, the PC (laptop) is faster with other applications, especially with the internet.

I don't really favor one over the other. They are both really good systems to use and a person's preference may depend on their needs.

Mac is a lot better in Windows, as the whole no virus, and stuff- I am used to doing Apple-Q on PCs. However, they have a gaming deficiency in some places. Overall I like Macs better.

For games PC, but Macs for everything else.

Macs because they're easier to use and less to worry about. Plus they're more user-oriented, which is what makes Macs so popular among young people!

And to those that say Macs suck, lemme ask you this: What do you use to listen to your music? Most likely an iPod, so SHUT UP.
