i thought you thought all the poor were simply irresponsible anyways?

surely, if it were true that illegals were putting americans out of work, and those americans couldn't find another job, then those americans wouldn't irresponsible, and would be at the same time poor, right?

i don't think anyone is paying attention to the question.

the question is: if all poor people are irresponsible, and thus don't have a job to begin with, how are the jobs that they don't have being taken away from them? and if hard working americans are being put out of work, wouldn't that mean that not all of the unemployed are irresponsible????

I am not a concervative. To answer your question, they steal jobs from american by agreeing to a salary way below the minimum wage requirement of our government. Therefore, employers who are greedy for profit takes advantage of this situation, and instead of getting american workers, they take illigal immigrants to do the jobs at more than 1/2 the cost. We really should be strick and start prosecuting these greedy employers.

They are illegal, simple as that. Ilegal's should not be working in ANY of our factories, or going to ANY of our schools, and using ANY of our medical facilities unless an absolute neccessity like dying. They shouldn't get ANY help from our goverment and shouldn't be driving on ANY of our roads. I'm a Conservative and I know there are some really good hispanics who have taken the time and money to come into the country legally and are an asset to the US.

That really didn't make much sense, But CNN did a piece 8 months or so ago about an illegal who was the manager at a restaurant.

Now I have never worked in a restaurant but i would bet there's many Americans who could do that job and would be glad to have it.

Here is a perfect example. At my company, a large pharmaceutical, we used to have a housekeeping dept. In the last 10 years, that dept has been disbanded and a company called La Costa has taken over with illegal hired help.
Is that a good enough example?

They really do not take too many jobs from Americans, definatly not as much as are being shipped overseas by our major fortune 500's. Yes some jobs mainly trade craft and minimum wage jobs are being used by illegals. But it is not illegals that are stealing jobs from us it is fortune 500 firms who are exporting jobs abroad.
