A preemptive war or airstrike on Iran is not necessarily inevitable, though with all the rhetoric being spewed by the warhawks in Congress and AIPAC, it seems that way.

The US dollar will continue to slide, though not as fast as it has been.

The likelihood of oil being traded in Euros instead of greenbacks is slight at this point, but not completely ruled out. Some OPEC members are looking into diversifying their monetary reserves, rather than a complete abandonment of the greenback.

A terror attack is not likely, but not due to any of the so-called security measures put in place. Terrorists spend years planning terror attacks and usually change tactics depending on the political climate. A more likely scenario would be the FEAR of terror being ratcheted up by the current regime in DC in order to garner support for hawkish candidates.

I think President Bush and this administration will always keep fear in the people of the U.S.A. to maintain their control and keep the funding for their military campaingns. I don't think this administration and this president has done any thing useful to prevent another 9/11. The reality is Terrorist will try again they will find a way. I think this Administration has really stirred up a bees nest, by their words, actions and threats in the middle east, and the outcome will not be in the U.S.s' favor. I think this administration would greatly gain from another 9/11 attack to reinforce the peoples fears and insecurity.... All speculation, but I have a gut feeling 9/11 was all planned or supported by this administration, and so will the next one. I only hope the American people regain controll of this country that this administrion has taken away from us, to prevent the next one.

I believe military action will happen in Iran. Unilateral action, not simply American...

The Dollar will stabilize and I'll be emailing you daily when the Canadian dollar takes its average of 6/10 USD.

No, oil will be traded on the dollar. The AMERICAN dollar...

No, the US will not be attacked. Terrorists want someone weak in the White House. Weak like a Democrat.

America is now a debtor nation. It's not going to war with anyone. At best, it can stand offshore and lob bombs at people, that's about it. Our military is at the breaking point and they are screaming for relief, not another useless war.
