For some reason, I prefer a more submissive girl . . . don't think I have any issues with a strong minded girl, but there's just something more feminine about a shy, quiet cute girl that I prefer.
Dominant girls seem to have more issues . . .

I like equals. I think there are always times when one person is more dominant than the other, but I also think that can switch off depending on the issue. For instance, sometimes one person is a stronger parent figure, but the other is stronger at things like financial planning and running the household. Got to find a good balance for it all to work out.

depends on how shy the guy is or how shy the girl is, if a girl is more shy then shes submissive? there is no like or no like its only a matter of fact when you get a girl.

I prefer submissive women. This will seem sexist, but in the same way women want a man to be a "real man," I think guys like women to be "real women." I like feistiness, appreciate intelligence and admire achievement in women, but at the end of the day I think that the man wants to be the man.
Having said that, the days where a woman was expected to be a doormat for her man have gone by. I do think most men appreciate the fact that their partners are intelligent and capable of fending for themselves in modern society. I think that this presents challenges to both sexes as they integrate the primal "aggressive male seeks submissive female" to the modern world where both genders work side by side as equals. In practice, I think women often do this by allowing themselves to be "dominated" every once and a while by their male partners, and men show their appreciation for this gesture by providing reinforcement and encouragement to their female partners as they pursue career goals, etc.
In short, I think we do a lot of tap-dancing to fit primal urges into modern society (and it may well be best that we do), but in the end most guys like submissive girls better.
