ASUS Striker Extreme specs say the memory standard is 800 (pc2-6400)

Does this mean my OCZ Reaper memory 1066 (PC2-8500)won't be supported on this board?

It'll work, at the slower speed your board supports. Remember, your memory is rated by the fastest speed it will go. It *can* go slower. Just as Ferrari can go at 55 MPH instead of 150 MPH.

That Ram will not work, your MB can only take Ram up to 800 speed and the ram you have is 1066.
