I don't really like men much younger than me. I've always liked men my age or older men. I've dated men who were my age, and men who were 15 years old than me, and even one man who was 60 years older than me! I just never did like them younger than me.
However, that being said, my current bf is 8.5 years younger than me. It took me a long time to warm up to the idea, but he was very persistent and eventually won me over. We've been together for five years now.
I still have a few little misgivings deep inside about him being so much younger than me, but I do love him and we have a great relationship. And he knows about those misgivings. We just work around them and they are pretty much gone by now anyway. It's just about trust and communication and honesty.
Still, I would prefer an older man if I were not involved at this time.
P.S. Since you posted this in the LGBT section, I should say that although I like men to be older than me, I like women to be the same age as me or slightly younger (not too much younger). I don't really find myself attracted to older women. If I fell in love with an older woman though, that is what would count the most, for me.

Well that depends on the woman. Every woman has different traits and features that they like about a man. Young women are likely to pick young men, while much older women are more likely to pick old men.

For spanish class we are having to translate personal ads...all of the men wanted younger women. All of the women wanted older men. It was kind of weird, but I guess if thats what they want it kinda works out, doesnt it? One woman was 28 and wanted any guy from the age of 30 to 57.

Really insecure women usually go after older men for security. Older women go after younger men because Demi Moore did it.......Most women go for someone they have common interest in. I have dated both younger and older....I like them close to my own age.

Depends on the women, but in general i believe, we prolly like woman around our own ages.
