wow... i've been having problems with this for years. one time i was at Borders looking at some cd's. this one lady asked me if i needed help and i answered with a "no, just looking around" like everytime someone asks me that question. this lady followed me like it was the first time she saw a human being or something. she kept saying "oh that's a good one". in my head i was thinking "like i give a damn." i was kinda annoyed so i left saying "thanks for all your help" just trying to be nice. lmao....why? do you like it?

No. If I need help I'll ask them. I was at a store the other day and one of the workers there basically stalked me around their store. I finally got fed up as she was peering over my shoulder and left.

It is nice that they ask, but if you feel their help is forced then I don't like it. I would rather them help bag my groceries than help me take them outside. Now whenever I go to a store there isn't a bagger or anyone to help me out. It's crazy.

No I hate it... especially when you tell them no thank you and then they start telling you what deals they have. I for one hate shopping so when I go to a store I know what I want, get it and leave. They are really just wasting their time and annoying me. LOL

Only if it's sincere. Just like the deadpan half hearted 'haaave a nice daaaay...' as they're looking off into the florescent lights of their dreary existence. I'd rather you said nothing!

They never seem to ask when I really need help and are over helpful when I don't want them around.

No, I am capable of following directions, but if one of my pretty co-workers wants to help, she can

I usually hate it, but sometimes it is alright.

I can walk into American Eagle and get attacked and swarmed on, but I understand it is part of their job.

Car dealerships are probably the worst, they are crazy there.
