Ive downloaded a movie and i tried to burn it with windows media player but all it had was the audio. What do I need to do to get the picture and audio, and is there a specific disk that i need? If so, where can i buy one. The person with the first answer that gets me watching a movie gets best answer award, Thanks.

Not enough information. Generally, this means you're missing a video codec for WMP to "decode" the video. However, without knowing which codec, I can't tell you what to download.

Unlike other people, I don't believe in "scattergun" approach to solve this problem, which is to install a "codec pack", which installs a whole bunch of codecs altogether, but you *could* try that if you insist.

The proper way to fix this is download GSpot the codec reader from free-codecs.com, which will tell you what codec is the file encoded in, then you find the matching codec from free-codecs.com and install that.

And you can't burn it with WMP. You can only view it.

As long as you have a dvd writer, either dvd+r or dvd-rw will do, and of course i prefer nero burning rom. make sure you chose burning 'Movie' in the burning type and also plz much the speed of your dvd disc with the nero for speed compatibility.
