We just built a sandbox and filled it with about 500lbs of playsand, and it seems the neighborhood cats are jumping over our fence just to pee in it. I'm experimenting with a few ways to try to repel them, but is there anyway to safely clean up the existing sand?

You would be surprised how many people and animals have peed on the beach. You could try mother natures way, wash it. If you are concerned about sanitation, use hot water.

Depending on how mad you are at the cats, you could electrify it when wet. Make sure you don't put too much water or they electric current will drain off. One hot pee will be a permanent lesson
