Let A = number of adult tickets sold.
Then the number of children's tickets sold is 295 - A .
Then the amount collected is :
5(adult tickets sold) + 2(childrens tickets sold) = 1220

5A + 2(295 - A) = 1220

5A + 590 - 2A = 1220

3A = 630

A = 210
