I'm 14 and can easily pass for 17. If I try, I can pass for 21. I got my period when I was 11, got a bra when I was 10, and am much more mature looking than my friends. I also act more mature, and as a result hang out with juniors and sophmores and seniors. is this normal for someone so ahead on the growing up thing? I am underwieght, and my bra size is a 38C. I just wonder why I'm like I am, and if other people are experiancing what I am.

and yes, I act, write, and test much more mature than I am in age. I have tested at a freshman in collage level in academics, and as for emotionally I am also far more mature than others my age. I don't even associate with other freshmen at my school, because I'm never in class with them

Just to let you know, you're not weird. There are tons of girls that started wearing bras when they were ten and started their periods at eleven. (I did both of those things at the same ages as you.) Also, you should also be testing your BMI on a children's BMI chart, not an adult chart. I checked a children's BMI chart (on a kid's chart, you select the child's age to be a factor also) and you have a BMI of 17.9, which is in the 28th percentile of all 14-year-old girls that are 5'7'' and you are considered to be at a healthy weight. (The percentile thing means that if there were 100 girls in a room that were all 14 and all were 5'7'', there would be the 27 girls that weigh less than you and 71 that would weigh more than you.) It's a good thing that you're mature. This world needs more people that have common sense! (Maybe you're not as mature as you think- maybe your freshman buddies are just EXTREMELY immature. lol)

I think you should talk to your Mum and your Grandma and ask them when they started their period and etc. It'll probably be around the same time as you.

I was the same. I was under weight and I had D cup breasts by the time I was 14. Now they're DD and I'm 17.

It's good that you act more mature but one mistake I made was dating older boys. Please, I'm begging you, do NOT date older boys.

You could also ask your doctor to take some tests and do a regular check up but you sound normal to me.

Don't worry everyone will catch up.

Everyone is different and there are many people just like you. Just appreciate your body and be happy to be healthy. If you are more comfortable hanging out with people that are older than you are then don't worry about it and keep doing so.

Yes, it's normal, it happened to me too, and happens to plenty of others. People develop at different rates.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge how mature you act. Leave that to others.

What exactly is your question?

You developed early. That happens to a lot of girls.

And by the way, a bigger bra size doesn't make you more mature.
