There are dozens of types of essential oils and blends that could be used in the scented oil. Take a look at the variety at LorAnn Oils. Ones you've probably heard of are pine, lavender, jasmine, orange and peppermint. Sometimes synthetic substances such as vanillin may be used. The base oils can vary, too - wheat germ, peanut, olive, etc.
