I think people liked his songs.But not his way of thinking and doing things.

First of all, Shut Up! He was a great man who loved the world and society. He was against phonies and even hated lip-syncing in Bealte Music Videos. Your a dip-**** for insulting my and many other people's hero

He was a good musician, and excellent song writer. Just because you dont agree with someones views doesnt make THEM a bad person.

he was not"phony"or violent!!he was a very peaceful man!
he just had the guts to express his beliefs!!

and especially during a decade when people got thrown in jail for the things he believed in!!
