The company i work for gives me a turkey. But every year this time we collect money at our work and we go to the store and buy lots of groceries and give to the child abuse center and to the kids and famlies that don't get much.
This year we got close to $1000 and I delivered them last thursday and it makes you feel real good inside knowing you helped people that wouldn't have anything to eat on thanksgiving! great question!

I usually try to buy 2 turkeys. I usually cook the one and end up giving the other away....
If I had a freezer, I might buy more....

I buy a prego turkey
Then I raise the baby in time for next year
Then the next year I buy another prego turkey
So in other words I buy a prego turkey once every two years...

No, but I bake for a Community Thanksgiving Dinner for the Needy in my area....about 15 churches get together and prepare meals for shut ins, elderly, low income and sometimes people who just have no one else to say they care. It is heart warming to see people appreciate being thought about.
Peace.
