In addition to the traditional sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch, other senses include temperature, pain, balance, and body awareness.

c. There are 5 sense that pick up direct information from outside the body.

There is a 6 sense, sort of, called the kinsethetic sense, that uses a combination of the other senses to inform you of the position of the different parts of the body and and what they are doing. This "sense" is not really a sensory perception., it does not provide new information,it is the result of the 5 sensory perceptions, subconsciously processed.

(Being really drunk is an exception to the rule that helps to make clear what the five senses are. The available information is the same. But now it is being consciously and poorly processed.)
