What do feel about the first amendmant and what it means to have freedom of speech freedom of religion and freedom of the press

Like the Magna Carta or any other writ of laws it can and will be taken away from us. It is inevitable that someone will trample on this document (I have read and understand that
Bush has done so...I don't know the impact of his actions or if the trampling he has done is permanent, time will tell)....But anyway the ideals can not be inforced by a treaty or a document, it must be enforced by good Americans and good people in government...human nature is our only hope that if and when this document is destroyed someone else will bring new life into the ideal of freedom.

Freedom of speech, religion and press practically made people to do what they want since these rights covers many aspects of life especially in criticizing the government for not performing public services and joining any religion.
