Another crappy performance by Peyton Manning that just proves that he can't get it done without Pro Bowlers. Tom Brady has done it without Pro Bowlers for years and has looked great and has had to do without his regular recievers some weeks and still come out looking great... what's Manning's excuse?

To steelers fan: That what's his excuse for last week? He can't get it done without his receivers. And the Patriots own the league... your sad, you know the Patriots don't cheat and try not to get a sore throat when you screaming "cheaters" after the Steelers lose to the Pats later on this year. ;-)

To JetsoverPats: Brady had a 99.8 passer rating over the first couple of games last year. Haha... get your facts straight.

I like Manning but this year he is not even on the same scale as Brady.

I'm sure it would make a difference if the non-pro bowl receivers would play with the number one offense since training camp. How is it the QBs fault when the receiver doesn't run the right route? Brady has benefited from a SYSTEM. Start watching football, you might learn something and not sound like a 6 year old.

Actually, Brady was good and did enough to win, but wasn't great until Moss came along this year. Some of his touchdowns this year were just thrown up in the air and Moss made a great catch to come down with it. You're right about Manning too though. They both need their good receivers. I'm surprised at how bad Peyton's looked the past 2 weeks. I wouldn't expect it to continue though.

The colts and Peyton Manning are way out of sync. I am going to give him some time. Right now Brady is better than Manning.

You gotta give Manning some time. Brady was just plain awful during the first few games of last year but got better as the season went on.

Its obvious that they don't practice with Manning very much and they don't start for a reason. These guys are worse than what Brady had the last few years.

I think this season has to make us all think about what Tom Brady could have done with Peyton's receivers over the past 7 years. And everyone cheats...the Patriots got caught once and paid their price...now they're showing everyone what they can do and why they don't need to cheat.

Hey give some credit where its due. KC has a top defense. Their only problem is being saddled with one of the worst head coaches ever to land a job in the NFL.
Herm Edwards has managed to dismantle one of the best Chiefs offenses that was built over 5 years under Vermeil.
But I agree, Manning might be tailing off.

The colts offense is all about timing, and not only does he not have pro bowlers, but he doesn't have the receivers that he is used to running the routes.
