Please help me...Im hopeless with physics

This is really just trig.

horizontal: 6 units*cos38
vertical: 6 units*sin38

OK, how to easily figure out whether its sin or cos: If the angle were 0, horizontal would be max and vertical would be 0. Cos0 is 1, sin0 is 0.

Take the vector's magnitude (= 6).

Multiply it by the cosine of the angle to get the horizontal component.
Multiply it by the sine of the angle for the vertical component.
