Is there a cd program that allows you to custom make a car/truck before you start building one? so you can tell what will work with what and what it'll look like? i've seen one somewhere and it had on there where you can add parts to the engine and it'll tell ya how much horsepower you can expect to get and you could also take it for a test drive... got any web sites that may have what i'm lookin' for???

It isn't that easy. You need to build a chassis. This must be tested for stress. Have you thought of the wheel base, aerodynamics, and use of car? Is it for pulling, transportation, show, or racing? Do you want a lighter engine such as ceramic composite?
How much of the energy is going to be used for the electronics? Are you going to have an embedded system?
A car requires more than a program, you need to study design and computer programming.
Do you understand the dynamics of bernouli's principle and the combustion engine?
