The next administration is going to have to deal with the falling dollar. As we speak, OPEC is talking about dumping the dollar as the currency of choice. What happens if US oil companies have to pay in Euros? Instead of $100 a barrel it will cost $150 a dollars a barrel or some ratio almost as bad. The Bush administration's economic and political polices have moved this country deep into enemy territory without any kind of economic exit stategy. We are totally vulnerable to forces that didn't even exist when this administration took office in 2000. The 'conservative' view was that, 'we're the United States, the all powerful'! The Bush government believed their own propaganda..belief based on false assumptions and their own hubris. Because of the foolishness of the Bush team there's now an odds on chance this country is heading for a deep recession on par with the Crash of '29! Whatever happens be prepared for a lot of bad news. Best case, we'll be 'England'. Worst case, we'll be 'Brazil'! Worst case several generations of americans are going to be poorer than they are now. Most likely all of us are going to feel some intense fallout from the course we've been on. Least likely, some magic rabbit will be pulled out of a hat and all will be well. I know a lot of the posts ansering this question will call Sen. Clinton a lot of bad names and insult everything about her, repeating all of that right wing blather they hear on right wing talk radio. But in the end, she may well be all we're going to have. The bright spot in all this is that the Bush Junta will be gone and we can start rebuilding all that's been lost over the last eight years. Hopefully we'll be come Americans again. No more red states, no more blue states.....the United States....older and wiser. Let us pray!

Nothing short of Feminism,Sex scandals,Continuation of an indirect third term for Bill Clinton and the promotion of political dominance of Bush and Clinton families respectively for more than two decades in American politics .This in a nut-shell means Americans have been conditioned to be narrowscopic in nurturing the political Class.Remember after Hillary,Jeb Bush will be another to jump on the cue.Americans Wake Up

She wants to implement a national health care plan that would take away our choice as to what doctor we see. (But don't worry, she will still fight to give women the choice to kill fetuses) If this happens you can also expect to have to wait much longer to get a doctors appointment (look at other countries with national healthcare)

She will go to countries in the middle east to try to achieve diplomacy, even though, a lot of Middle Eastern leaders wouldn't respect a women leader (not saying it's right... it's just the truth).

Raise taxes

She may make pant suits mandatory

VOTE FOR HILLARY!!!

Obama is a good choice perhaps, but it might be too soon for him. He could use some more experience under his belt. Besides, I could see the Republicans mentioning his name on the talk shows and doing the whole "So the Democratic candidate Osama... er... excuse me Obama was speaking yesterday...." After all, if they are dirty enough to have a commercial which had the word Democrats fade, but the letters R...A....T...S would fade a little slower than the rest of the word.... odd are they would have a field day with trying to associate Obama with Osama.

Health Care

2007-11-18 11:33:18 · answer #6 · answered by Anonymous · 2 2

Before you ask for universal health care you better check Canada, France and British health care. Their on 2 years waiting lists, they are coming to US for health care. People are pulling their own teeth because they can't get in to see a dentist. PEOPLE ARE DYING BECAUSE THEY ARE ON LONG WAITING LISTS. People from these countries were on BBC news talking about their health care. IT STINKS.
As far as the economy and making more money. If Hillery gets it you watch the BIG hick in taxes. We are taxed to death now.
We had one Clinton in the White House, he didn't do anything for us, why do we want another.

Strengthening the Middle Class
America's middle class is under siege and ready for change. People are working harder and longer for less and less. For six long years, America's middle class and working families have been invisible to our president. When Hillary is in the White House, no American will be invisible to the president of the United States.

Providing Affordable and Accessible Health Care
Nearly 47 million Americans -- including 9 million children -- don't have health insurance. America is ready for universal health care. Hillary has the vision and the experience to make it a reality. This is a battle Hillary has fought before -- and she has the scars to prove it. She knows better than anyone how to fight and build the political support to get the job done.

Ending the War in Iraq
America is ready for a leader who will end the war in Iraq. Hillary's roadmap out of Iraq, the Iraq Troop Protection and Reduction Act of 2007, is a plan to end the war before the next president takes the oath of office. But if the Bush administration won't end the war, as president and commander in chief, Hillary will.

Promoting Energy Independence and Fighting Global Warming
The choices we make about energy touch nearly every aspect of our lives. Our economy, our national security, our health, and the future of our planet are all at stake as we make a choice between energy independence and dependence on foreign sources of oil. Hillary has proposed an Apollo Project-like program dedicated to achieving energy independence.

Fulfilling Our Promises to Veterans
Hillary will ensure that all those who sacrifice on behalf of our country receive the help and care they need. They not only deserve our country's gratitude and support; they deserve the gold standard in health care and benefits when they return home. That is our most solemn obligation to those who have put their lives on the line for our country.

Supporting Parents and Caring for Children
America is ready for a president who fights for our children. From her first job out of law school at the Children's Defense Fund to her time as First Lady of Arkansas and of the United States to her service in the Senate, helping children has been at the center of Hillary's public life.

Restoring America's Standing in the World
The next president's most urgent task will be to restore America's standing in the world to promote our interests, ensure our security, and advance our values. America is stronger when we lead the world through alliances. As president, Hillary will lead by the words of the Declaration of Independence, which pledged "a decent respect to the opinions of mankind."

A Champion for Women
Hillary's historic statement in 1995 that "women's rights are human rights" still echoes worldwide. As a lawyer, advocate, First Lady, and senator, Hillary has fought for issues important to women here at home and around the world for decades. Hillary will continue her lifelong fight to ensure that all Americans are treated with respect and dignity.

Comprehensive Government Reform
Americans are ready for a government that puts competency ahead of cronyism. For the past six years, we've had an administration that has contempt for government. And because they view it with contempt,
Strengthening Our Democracy
Fair and honest elections are the bedrock of a successful democracy. Yet we have seen abuses in national elections since 2000 that have undermined our democracy and Americans' faith in our electoral system. Hillary is a leading champion of election reform. She has introduced the Count Every Vote Act to avoid repeating the problems of the past and ensure the integrity of our elections.
