I was not referring to me but others that I have read. I reject thumb voting, I use my key board to defer with someone I disagree with, not the chidish thumb voting.

Often on Yahoo Answers you have to say what people want to hear if you want praise. I don't subscribe to that theory and answer as I see fit, without abuse, but honestly.
Still you will get reported by little gangs of know-alls and the people who thumb-down for pleasure. Just keep posting your questions and answers and you will prevail. Even though losing points can be a pain.
Even though it's entertainment here, it can be spoiled by cheats.

Two reasons mainly.
First is that they don't fit the views of the majority because they are less likely to be influenced by propaganda.
Secondly the people who want to prevent the truth from spreading are more likely to vote against it or report it due to the fact that the answer clearly shows they are wrong. The lies told to the masses are usually so obvious that they have a real hard time trying to stand up against even the smallest amount of true knowledge.

Because a lot of people don't want to hear what's intelligent or articulate, they just want to hear what makes them right. I for one don't care about thumbs up or down I just answer the question.

There have been a lot of these kinds of questions in the past few days. I want to believe that the honest people who answer questions have become tired of the ones who think they run Yahoo Answersbecause they are best answerers. Most of the best answers that are chosen are complete nonsense, but they say waht the asker wants to hear.

It is MUCH easier to get an well-reasoned logical argument removed from Yahoo Answers than to research facts, formulate a logical opinion and then express it intelligently.

Well no one on here thinks they are stupid, especially in the politics section. It happens to us all and it's very frustrating.
Just try to shrug it off and keep on playing, ill deeds eventually come home to roost.

The thumbs and reporting are for political purposes not for eloquence of speech, not for reasonable demeanor or dialogue. The masses are here in hatred of the other political persuation and not much else.

Those who give stupid, ignorant answers are also reported or thumbed down.
Either it's a universal thing, or maybe you're kidding yourself about the quality of your answers.
