Could be many reasons: Corrupt application, download server is down for maintenance. You are already infected!!!

You might be using an older edition of Yahoo! toolbar. Try updating the newest version. The download link is http://toolbar.yahoo.com/

Maybe it was a bad install or maybe there in no update. Uninstall then reinstall it and then let it update
