what do you expect the current to be when V = 0 and why?

If the voltage is zero, current will also be zero.

Voltage can be thought of as pressure, while current can be thought of as what the pressure is moving. If there is no pressure (voltage), there's nothing to cause a flow of particles (current)

Current is 0.
Because according to ohms law I = VxR , current = volt x ohms.
If v=0 then I has to equal 0. (I is current in amperes.)
