This is a little unfair, as I've met both men and women who do that. Try asking the question in a way so as not to make the person defensive? Often we ask things in a certain tone or wording that makes people feel like they should be defensive.

By the tone of your question, I kind of get the feeling that when you ask your man "a question" it might sound very accusatory, or it could be asked in a very irritable way. Try giving people the benefit of the doubt.

Ask your question in a different way or perhaps a different "tone". If he still acts that way, then you've got some serious communication issues. good Luck !!!

well depending on the question it just might be their way of avoiding it and if that is the case then something is really wrong.
