Download the free version of Superantispyware. This program is excellent at finding and killing a spyware or virus that all other software will miss or not able to kill. (No conflict with any existing antispyware program). Use this software myself. You will also get daily automatic updates free.

Perform a complete indepth scan. If the virus found is a real nasty one, the software will tell you to reboot. Otherwise it will just kill the virus.

I would download Spyware Doctor Starter Edition and AVG antispyware which are both free and available at download.com.
Next I would install and update each program. Then I would disconnect my computer from the internet to keep the malware from trying to "phone home." Next I would do complete scans with each program. this should remove this trojan, but as a final precaution go back online to Trend Micro Housecall to do a free online that will remove any left over malware on your machine. Hopefully, it won't be necessary to scan your pc in safe mode, but depending on the particular trojan it might be necessary to run antispyware scans while your pc is not in regular windows mode. Try scanning in regular windows mode first.

Just as a hint, it is nothing wrong with paying for your computer's security programs, however, there are much more reliable programs out there than Norton or McAfee. You should try NOD32 which is much more adept at catching this kind of malware before it becomes a problem. Regardless, always make sure that the program is uptodate and your computer is scanned regularly.

Hope this helps!

Do a google seek for Xoftspy. Its an excessively well adware remover. I'm a PC tech for a health center and that is the application that we use to take away adware. Its now not a unfastened application nevertheless, however its very speedy and reveals alot of stuff that the unfastened ones leave out. One of the draw backs of it's that it does not have a lively look after. Another pay to make use of person who does and is a nice product is Webroot Spy Sweeper. I use a blend of the 2 on my dwelling PC. One for lively safety and the opposite for just about a moment assess. Unfortunately there will probably be a few portions of adware that's so dangerous that the first-rate resolution is to reinstall the operation process and begin over from scratch. Hopefully you might have some thing that's not that extreme.

try ccleaner or spybot search n destroy, if that fails your up for a reformat of you hard drive. Another program is System Mechanic 7 but that will cost after a 30 day trial. Reformat of Hard drive is only sure way to get rid of viruses that have taken grip.

I would not recommend buying any programs and wasting your money when you can remove them yourself without spending your hard earned money.

Check this article, it has complete information to deal with pop-ups and spyware....

Pop-ups are created by Adware installed by different sites on your computer. To stop these pop-ups, you need to remove special keys from your computer which are installed by those sites.
