I had my two children 12 months apart and bought each of them a mobile. They enjoyed it for a little while but we hardly used them and then my eldest son would pull on it and almost broke it when he could stand up.
I think a far better investment are those Fisher Price musical & lights cot attachments - my eldest son has the aquarium and my youngest has flutterbye dreams with the birdies and light show - they love them and we have gone through truck loads of batteries to keep them going! They are now aged one and two years old and they are still helping them soothe to sleep - when they wake they watch and play with them. They are fantastic!

My son watched it when he was like 1-2 months old. Now he could care less about it at 3.5 almost 4 months. It's a pain to have to keep winding all the time as well. If she's never had one, she won't miss it.
Get one of those FP Aquariums, my guy loves to watch it and a few nights ago he figured out that if he kicks at it enough times he can get it to start. His aim must be getting better because for the last two nights he hasn't woken me up kicking at it but I do wake up when I hear it. I however learned my lesson - do not go in and check on him when I hear it because even if it is only 4:30am - he does not know that and thinks it is time to get up for the day.

I put a mobile in my children's cribs and they really did enjoy looking at it. Depending on what you have, you can even alternate them. Some have wind up music and some spin around. It just gives thew baby something to look at. I would not go out and spend a lot of money one one, but if you have one it is nice to use (but not necessary). In a few months your baby will be pulling herself up to stand and when she does that and you will need to remove it for safety reasons.

My son is 4 months and likes his.I only wish it stayed on longer. He will probably outgrow it as soon as he gets up and stands on his own.I heard you could then put it over the changing table to distract baby at diaper time.He really likes his battery operated ceiling projecter/light up crib toy.It lights up and sings. It's on a timer ,projects pictures on the ceiling in the dark and has a sound sensor. He really likes it better than the mobile.

Mu daughter liked to follow hers and watch it... but she seemed more interrested in it when she was alot smaller. (1 - 3 months) now, at 5 1/2 months... she started to reach for it so we took it down. Now she has one of those waterfilled things that hook onto the side of the crib and light up and play music... (she has this one... http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2455073 ) and she has absolutely LOVED it since she was a couple of months old. I put her in sleepy... press the button, and she falls asleep to it. It's wonderful! Hope this helps.

I say no because when she start to pull up you will have to take down. That will be in about 2 maybe 3 months

I got mine when my son was about 5 months. He used it until he could stand and pull on it about 3 months later. He loved it.

i'm supposing yes. on my "my t-mobile" [which you can access from the original t-mobile site] it says in the bill summary that "t-mobile to t-mobile" is unlimited. so you can go to your "my t-mobile" and check the billing options.

I never had one. I think theyre ugly and pointless. You can string those little links and dangle toys from them, thats way more fun.
Or just put some soft toys in the crib.
