WELL THEY HAVE A CLEARER PICTURE, LESS GLARE AND TAKE UP ALOT LESS SPACE!!! IF YOUR KIDS CANT CONTROL THEMSELVES, THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULDNT GET ONE! (NOT TO BE RUDE) BTW, WHY WOULD YOUR KIDS BE PUTTING THEIR HANDS OR OTHER OBJECTS NEAR THE SCREEN ANYWAY?

It's the same set up as an ordinary monitor re cables, you will probably get software to install with it /drivers but that's not a problem, the problem is going to be your kids. Flat screen monitors are not cheap it's easy to damage them as little touching with the fingers as possible they are hard to keep clean and you have to take care of them with special cleaning methods. But they are a great job you will never go back to the old type, no glare great picture etc.

Cheers.
