I don't know her too well, she lost 2 friends, and listens to hardcore metal.
Not any CDs though, I am not sure what she likes.

How about a gift certificate to a book store. Or some place she likes to go shopping. For hardcore metal stuff, maybe someplace like Hot Topic or Spencer's. They have online stores too. Burningairlines.com is a cool place to get music stuff, I dont know about hardcore metal though, but you never know.

Get her an awesome little HotWheels of the kind of car she'd like to have with a giftcard for somewhere likes in the card. I think that would be really cool for a 16th birthday present.

Hmm..sweet 16..you should make it something thoughtful. I would give her a picture of you two partying it up and put it in a nice frame. Trust me-pictures make great gifts!
