i think that with 300 million people all getting free health care,it will cause such a back-log,it is a bad pointless idea, clinton knows this, yet thinks most american are dumb, when most are, theirs a lot that is not, canadians come here for heatlth matters, what will people do when it will take up too a year for "free" surgerys,or months for mamo-grams,doctor appointments will be even longer than they already are,so im wondering am i the only one who see,s this as very, very disatorus for this country?

Health insurance costs over $400 a month currently. Something must be done. I am not asking for free health care or insurance. I would just like to see a method of having everyone covered at a price they can afford.

"clinton knows this, yet thinks most american are dumb, when most are, theirs a lot that is not.."
try to use correct grammar when applying you're one of the inteligent americans, please.
and I believe free health care would be a not only smart, but necessary. Our health care system is entirely out of control, and we NEED to reel it back in.. true, this WILL be a hit to doctors and to the rich who don't need to worry about the price of their health care, but isn't it better for the few elite to become more equal with the rest of us, if it means the same for the poor? There are so many impoverished families who don't have health care at all in our country, however, we don't see them.. because we choose not to. The truth is, the rich control the media, which is what we hear about, and they want health care to stay the same so that they can continue to get richer. So we hear arguments about surgeries taking this long, because the rich want to fearmonger and convince those of us in the middle that we won't be able to recieve crucial surgeries on time. But honestly, you stated that, "doctor appointments will be even longer than they already are" in reality, this is SO minor a cost to helping those who are less fortunate than ourselves, how can it even be relevant?
Clinton is brilliant. And hopes voters to be the same... if She thought Americans were dumb, and wanted to win this election, she would play the George Bush role.

I know someone from Canada who's mother still lives there. When she needed treatment for a heart condition she had to come to the US to get it. She would be on a waiting list till she died in Canada using wonderful government health care. If the US government cant run anything else efficiently what makes anyone thing they can handle health insurance? The only reason liberal politicians want government health care is so they can control it, they thrive on control of the little people (citizens).

There is no such thing as free health insurance. If the patient has no responsibility for paying, there will be no end to the costs. Of course, some can't pay and need to be cared for; but most are capable of getting insurance.

that is definatly NOT a bad idea. i mean have you thought of the mother who works all day as a wiatress and still cant afford a health care package for her kids to get vaccinated. or maybe what about the guy wos been having kidney pain for the past month, but cant afford to go the doctor to get it checked out, maybe its life threating. i mean seriously, it wouldnt such a "problem", as you see it, if every doctor only saw 25 patients a day. we need this, its a definate problem, especially for people who dont work anymore and dont get free insurance from that workplace so they have to depnd on their pention, which sucks 9 out of 10 times, to buy thier doctors check ups.

Another typical republican complaining about something that will never happen. For those that have a need they will receive medical attention, and for those that can't be bothered to wait their turn they can still go to a non-participating physician. So what do you have to complain about. Your just afraid they will spend the money on people here in the US rather than on wars overseas to feed the republican bank accounts!

What's the big deal? I have health Insurance from where I work. It's not free. I pay $95 a month copay. I work hard for my benefits at work. The want ads in the paper are the third largest thing in the paper. Get a job. I know people who complain about the cost of their health Insurance and they have on line service a cell phone and stupid ring tones and they smoke. You have a choice use it.

Take your chill pill. It won't happen for a long while. When it does it will be a minimal coverage type of insurance. People will then have the ability to buy additional coverage for themselves. The democrats will claim universal coverage, the republicans will claim freedom of choice and the medical profession will still carry on. Ain't America great!

The government is spending trillions of dollars on wars and as gifts to other countries like $100 million for Pakistan, the government should stop their "war on terror" and put that money into free healthcare or would you prefer to keep throwing the sick to the streets.
