No.

Also yes, our government could have delayed all these Pole's from coming here, but thanks to the EU, they would have come sooner or later. Remember, almost all come here to work. Yes it is a problem for many who are born here who want to work, but remember that there are loads of people who do not work even though there are jobs, and that is the reason that so many come here.

Being part of the EU has many advantages, but also problems. Which is why we need another referendum. Not just on the treaty/consitution, but also on being part of the EU as a whole.

Paywithnaievty - "Who cares?" I care!

*My* boyfriend (British) is unskilled and struggling to find a good job to support me and our baby son. His company hires loads of Polish lorry drivers and when he asked them about whether they'd consider helping him do his HGV training they refused, saying that since Poles with HGV licences are Ten a Penny, they no longer see it profitable to invest in training local lads. So tell your BF and his mates thanks a lot for ******* up our chance of a good life in our own country. I'll never understand women like you. If he's so great why not go to Poland with him?! We won't miss you.

In answer to your question: Yes. The UK should NEVER have let this amount of people flood the labour market. They should have protected our livelihoods.

I am sick of the whole "EU" thing. Many Britons don't want to be part of a superstate. We don't want to provide work for people who's countries can't or won't provide it for them. We want to look after our own.

I just wish they would shut the door.

I neither know nor care. My boyfriend is Polish and he's gorgeous. I'm ever grateful to Tony Blair for allowing him to come here and love me.
