We are social beings, learning about ourselves by seeing ourselves through others eyes. Solitary people think they are wonderful, but have no idea how irritating they may be when connecting with another person, or vice versa, they may be lovely people, but have no idea of that with no feedback. Living alone is easy, and as soon as we connect with another, problems begin. And that is the wonder of relationships of any kind, working on the problems, learning how to compromise and how to interact with others. Solitary people who chose that way of life in exclusion of others thoughts and actions are similar to a dictator; with no one controlling our environment, we may think we are right on all issues. Not so, as others can bring new ideas to our ideas and come up with wonderful things.
Man's basic needs are to belong and to be appreciated. These can only be done with a connection to another.

Humans are some times classified as social
beings by anthropologists. Humans who lived in
remote corners of world, without contact with outside world for millenia, had a society.
How humans think and exchange information – the sensory world makes up only a fraction of human experience. In order to understand the world, we have to conceive of human interaction in the abstract (i.e., society).
Many phenomena cannot be reduced to individual behavior – to explain certain conditions, a view of something "greater than the sum of its parts" is needed.
Collectives often endure beyond the lifespan of individual members.
The human condition has always meant going beyond the evidence of our senses; every aspect of our lives is tied to the collective.

Simple!
It's the people you have a connection with, that help mold the person that you are now, and will become!
We always learn, leaving room for change.

your purpose in life, it doesn't matter what religion you subscribe to, is to have an effect on another person and the same can be said about them. it is easier to have an effect on someone you have a connection with and it's easier for them to have an effect on you.
