ABSOLUTELY FRICKEN NOT!!!!!
it is what allows the people in our country to live the way they do. what do you think would happen if free speech was eliminated? what about freedom of religion? or right to petition the government? it the first amendment were to ever go, i would expect an outcome of extreme violence.

No. Even if free speech was "causing violence", I assure you that repealing any of the Bill of Rights would lead to much, much more violence (and justifiably so).

In a word NO! We can't go giving our rights away because of fear. Do you really think not having the right to say what we want would lead to peace? I think this would leave to much more violence.

NO! It stays.

If we believe in a free society, I have the right to say what I want, but the responsibility that goes along with it

That is not possible... but amendments can be amended. But no... freedom do not supress... people who manipulate those freedoms for their own good cause violence.

You can't veto an amendment. You can pass another amendment to repeal it.

I have a feeling vetoing it would cause even more violence.

Just a thought.
