Looking at t he TSX
It seems like the pre-owned cost is not really that much lower than a new car.
A new car costs about 30,000.
Looking at the kelly blue book value (not what the dealership wants)
For instance a 2005 tsx has a kbb value of 26,340.
Is it worth 4,000 to buy a new tsx?

CPO autos are frequently greater costly by using fact they are considered the 'cream of the crop' and that they contain a protracted guarantee. I recommend googling the definition of what qualifies an Acura and Lexus to be CPO and in case you nevertheless have questions, communicate on your community broker.

If I had the money to pay cash for an 08 at $30k then I would get that. But if you have to get a loan for either car, I'd get the used TSX.

honda and acura have some of the best resale values. i would say if you are comfortable with buying a new one, then do it. if u can find one in good shape with 3 or 4k miles, then do that instead.
