If raw, apply the Neosporin. If scabbed over, leave it completely alone. That's merely part of the healing process.

Since it's already scabbed over, it's best to leave it alone. Disturbing the scab will only add to the time required for healing. If it's large and alarming to look at, put a bandage over it and make up an interesting story about how it got there.
Make the best of it. The good news is, you're young so it will heal quickly IF you don't fuss with it. Good luck.

Neosporin works very well. Cover it over nite and remove the bandage as soon as you wake up so it can breath. An old household remedy is to apply vitamin e from a gel cap on the scabbed area.

Don't put anything on it during the day if you are worried about your looks, or put a small bright bandaid on it. It looks alright, like it's nothing to you, and when people ask, just say it's a little cut and you don't want it to get infected. If they ask how, tell them you hit your head a branch while riding your bike or you hit you head getting out of bed.
Tonight, put neosporin on it, cover it with a bandage, and don't touch it, and wear it to bed. This helps it heal faster.

Don't pick it, no matter what else you do or you can get a scar. I would try a light coating of neosporin to keep it from getting infected but I wouldn't cover it since the scab is a natural cover. Keep in mind, it won't heal overnight...and everyone has something from time to time. Try not to imagine everyone is staring, and be ready to give a simple matter of fact answer if they do ask....my mother used to say, "A butterfly kicked you in the forehead" when I got a pimple. Absurd, but it did give me something to say.

Try opening a Vitamin E capsule (400iu's) and rub it into the scab. Cover it at night and leave uncovered for daytime. Only drawback is you might smell a little fishy, but vit. E used like that is great for scabs and scars.,, just don't use anything drying to the skin.

Your body heals itself the most during the night. I would first disinfect it, put neosporin on it, put a band-aid on and go to bed early tonight.
