NYC has a much better overall cultural scene-Boston is too big on the bar scene for my tastes. But NYC is a huge pain to navigate, especially if you aren't familiar with the subways; in that regard, Boston wins out. Still, I'd take NYC any day, as I don't mind a crowd.

I am planning on finally visting Boston in July. I have not been to either and think I would like both, but I think I would have to visit both before deciding.

I'll go to Boston...
I think I'll start a new life,
I think I'll start it over, where no one knows my name,
I'll get out of California, I'm tired of the weather,
I think I'll get a lover and fly em out to Spain...
I think I'll go to Boston,
I think that I'm just tired
I think I need a new town, to leave this all behind...
I think I need a sunrise, I'm tired of the sunset,
I hear it's nice in the Summer, some snow would be nice... oh yeah,

Boston... where no one knows my name...

I'm frightened to answer because I'm sure the bostonians will freak....but Boston is like a frat party while NYC is like a cocktail party...we schmooze in our very best and then we go home to isolate ourselves...you gotta love NY.

Boston definetly.

NYC is just a ghetto version of Boston, bigger and more expensive..

Boston has culture, value, and it carries a great name :)

i am sure they both have wonderful things about them but they are too big, too busy, too noisy, and too dangerous for me to live in and call home...
