Find the standard cell potential (V). Multiply by the total charge required to plate out 40.9 g Cu (remember that each mol Cu requires 2 Faradays of charge).

Principle: Energy = volts x coulombs. Since this is electrical energy, it is all Gibbs free energy, available to do work.
