Make it impossible for us to EVER amend the constitution with the intent as described below...

History is that the writers of the constitution knew there were many female monarchs in the old world. The main reason for coming to America was freedom from opression. They wrote into the constitution that only a male could hold the highest office of the land...It was NOT done to put down women in general...They were given the right to vote in the 19th Amendment on Aug. 18, 1920
-------------------------------------------------------

At least one well-recognized constitutional lawyer agreed with the view of that, without a Constitutional amendment degenderizing Article II of the Constitution, Hillary Rodham Clinton cannot constitutionally seek—or legally hold—the office of President of the United States.
That, of course will not stop the former First Lady and current junior Senator from New York from running anyway and attempting to amend the US Constitution by precedent. If no one files a petition before the US Supreme Court (which is the only court with jurisdiction over this question) and should Hillary win, the Constitution will have been amended by common practice—opening the door wide for the elimination of the 2nd Amendment using the same tactics.

I'd eliminate the electoral college. Eliminate sales tax, and make the income tax more progressive. Eliminate inherited wealth: when you die, it all goes back to the people. Reduce the powers of the president, possibly go to a parliamentary system. Limit the time allowed for election campaigns, and the money that can be spent on them. Pass an amendment protecting the right to unionize in all states. Remove religious language from the Pledge of Allegiance. Put everybody on the "do not call" list, unless they specifically ask not to be.

I'd repeal the 16th Amendment wiping out the federal income tax and replace it with a national sales tax. It's the fairest form of taxation...you pay for the merchandise and services you purchase.

I'd repeal the 22nd Amendment also, and allow a president to run for more than two terms if they so choose.

I'd define separation of church and state the way it was designed to by the Forefathers...to not permit a national religion. Not this silly garbage of removing all mention of God. If you don't believe in God, that's your choice, but it's not right for those that don't to violate the rights of those who believe to practice what they wish.

I'd work on getting politicans to have more civil discourse in how issues are discussed. It's gotten to the point you can't have an intelligent discussion without being accused of being a war criminal or a traitor or whatever.

Take away the Congressional right to increase their salaries without a vote of the people.

AND limit their retirement benefits! The amount of money they get for even ONE term, for LIFE is more than most of us can imagine.
