Have Kohler 1.6 gal flush toilet... but have to flush twice because the water pressure is so low that it won't flush right the first time.

I have other bathrooms with the same Kohler model in 3 other bathrooms and they work fine. Only one is not.

HELP!

It's only 4 months old and it was this way from the beginning. The house is newly built.

Remove the top from the tank and look at the chain/strap that lifts the flapper when you push the flush handle. It may have too much slack in it and the flapper is falling down too quickly. This causes the water to the bowl to stop before it has enough to make a full flush. You can adjust the chain/strap so that it allows the flapper to "just" seal after flushing. The flapper should not fall back down until almost all the water is gone from the tank.

check the chain and the float the chain should be some what tight and the float should say up till the water is out of the tank

Make sure the Supply valve is completely open

it is either clogged up or its parts are to old, how old is the toilet any way?
