In you opinion, do you believe John Ellis "Jeb" Bush has the qualifications to be the President of the United States of America? Why or why not?

I believe Jeb Bush is qualified to be the President for Three Reasons;

1. He is the brother of the Greatest President in American History George W. Bush.

2. He is the son of the Greatest President of the 1990s George H.W. Bush.

3a. His Great-Great-Great Uncle Franklin Pierce was the 14th President of the United States.

3b. He is related to three great American Presidents

Ahmed Ra'id,

One of the reasons why George W. Bush is a Half Decent President is because he brought Freedom and Democracy to the people of Iraq and Afghanistan while putting his job on the line.

NO f**king way!! Jeb Bush cones from the same roots as his crockroach father and brother came from. Vote for him if you like high fuel prices, a "war" or invation fighting a war to steal oil for profits at our military and citizens expense while justifing it because of the events of 9/11 which was a scam of George W Bush, so another Bush NO WAY!!

I like Jeb... But he is a victim of his family's political success. He will never be President, nor should he run. If another Bush ends up in the White House, it will be from the next generation of the Bush family.

for those who don't want to follow the links...daughter Noelle, twice convicted on felony drug charges
son John, SEPTEMBER 16--One of President George W. Bush's nephews--the youngest son of Florida Governor Jeb Bush--was arrested early today and charged with public drunkenness and resisting arrest. John Ellis Bush, 21, was nabbed at 2:30 AM by Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents in Austin (Jeb Jr.'s street corner arrest came in one of the capital's popular bar districts). According to the below arrest warrant, filed with the Travis County Municipal Court, an intoxicated Bush, "continually pushed against this officer and struggled as I attempted to handcuff him." After about four hours in custody, Bush was released on $2500 bond for the resisting count (the intox charge was covered by a personal recognizance bond). This is the second time young Jeb--pictured in mug shot at right--has landed on a police blotter. In October 2000, Jeb, then 16, and a girlfriend were discovered naked from the waist down in a Jeep Cherokee parked at a Tallahassee mall. Jebby's siblings, George and Noelle, have also had well-publicized run-ins with the fuzz.

I would think he would be as qualified as much as any that are running. he has been around politics all his life and was Governor. But i doubt he would have a chance at this election.

Oh God no...He screwed up Florida and it's education system. Haven't we learned our lesson about the Bush family after George W?

Do you REALLY believe that George W. Bush is the greatest president in history? He is probably the worst. Give me ONE example of why Bush is even HALF WAY decent?!

Yes but his chances of ever achieving that goal have been diminished by his brothers poor approval rating. People don't always look at the man or woman and their particular accomplishments.

AND, he's now on the board of directors of the company that screwed Floridians out of millions while Jeb was governor. Tenet Health Care, look it up for yourself. I would say he's qualified, he seems to have learned the family lessons well.

Please don't forget he is married to a Hispanic, is by lingual and is a very popular ex Governor of Florida. If it were not for term limits he would still be Governor.

I really don't understand you people who think presidents are qualified just because they're related to previous presidents...have you ever heard of a Dynasty?...Do you know why catholic preists can't have children? Why do you want to turn a democracy into a monarchy?
