at our house, we always have chicken. it actually tastes better than turkey and is SO much easire to make. if you buy it pre cooked from the store, all you have to do is heat it up.

heres some ideas for sides
- mashed potatoes
- roasted potatoes
- sweet potaotes
- cranberry sauce
- corn
- fresh bread
- glazed carrots
- brocolli
- pumpkin pie
- cranberry apple pie (just make apple pie, but add cranberries to the filling)

There are many alternatives to turkey. Chicken is always a good secondary choice, and there's beef and pork. Instead of turkey make a ham, or roast a chicken. Other foods, such as mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie, are staples to a true Thanksgiving meal, so you may want to keep those.
Happy Thanksgiving! =D

If you have been invited to a thanksgiving dinner or attend your families, then know that you have the "vegan" option and you do not have to eat turkey. Just eat the veggies, roles, salads, casseroles, desserts, etc. You get the point, theres tons of other options even if the main course if turkey. I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving. However if you do not have plans, you could always go out to a restaurant and have dinner.

Well, if you are going somewhere for Thanksgiving and don't like to eat turkey, you could always eat something small before going, and then just eat some of the side dishes and dessert!

I've done chicken for thanksgiving before, cornish hens (which taste just like chicken, I don't get why they are so expensive though if they are underage hens)

Make a ham, a goose, maybe even a duck.
Be creative.
