I was hypnotised to give up smoking once. It would have worked too if I hadnt got cocky and thought I'd just buy one last pack of cigarettes. I do get the thought sometimes that "I am a natural non smoker".

Yes. I was hypnotised for pain control. I smashed my legs in a car crash and, due to infection etc they couldn't get the pain under control so sent me for hypnosis. It worked a treat! I can't turn the pain off but I can turn it down so it is bearable. I used the technique for my vasectomy - so I know it works! lol

Yes. to stop smoking two tears ago and no it didn't work for me, though it did for my husband, he hasn't smoked since.

Throughout the session I was aware of everything I could here noises[traffic and birds] outside the building.

The only thing I would say is that I thought I was only in the room for about 15 mins. and it was an hour I was in for. I can't explain that.

I still listen to the CD I got with the session and it is good for relaxing me to get to sleep. I listen to it most nights

I tried it and it didn't work. I realized the reason why: hypnotism is B.S. Not because it didn't work for me, but because it doesn't work for anybody. Even those who are "hypnotized" into doing crazy things are only behaving that way because they are either:

a) under pressure to perform.
b) want to take advantage of the opportunity to let loose and to act a total fool without fear of consequence or judgment.

Well me and my friend tried one of them hypnosis CDs to make you eat less lol and we sat there, finished and we were like, "that was fun" and then I can't remember what happened, but the next thing I knew we were eating a fat chocolate cake LOL. So clearly it didn't work for us.

Yes, we all have. We are hypnotized every day. Either while day dreaming or watching tv there is always something that hypnotizes us.
