Dilating the point means by multiplying the scale factor 3 by (1,-1), so the answer is (3,-3).

Hey there!

For (x,y), and the scale factor of 3, the new dilation will be:

(x,y)->(3x,3y).

So,
(1,-1) --> (3(1), 3(-1)) --> (3,-3)

So the point is (3,-3).

Hope it helps!
