There's been speculation aplenty over the last few days which points to Madeleine having been snatched to order and spirited away.
Lets assume this could be true, and that Madeleine is alive.
The McCanns have apparently been advised to not show any emotion during interviews in case the abductor 'gets off' on her grief.
If she IS alive, maybe its time to 'let it all out' on camera as the previous advise obviously hasn't worked?

Thanks for all your answers so far but I may have worded this wrongly. I mean, maybe its time for G & K To make an emotional plea to the (presumed) abductors - no holds barred. eg; if she is being held by some family who wanted a green eyed/caucasian blonde girl.

I think some honesty is the best thing right now, they should both come out and face the questions that we have all been asking from the start and although it must so so hard to do, answer them honestly and with the real emotion without any other whimsical tip toeing.

Hi Justine. Good point.
If people are saying that the little girl was "...snatched to order" it must be because they are under the influence of Portuguese wine. I mean.... "snatched to order". I thought they only did that with cars ! --- How many millions of families have been to the Algarve over the last 10, 15 years and NO other child was "snatched to order". -- A much more likely scenario is that Madeleine woke up, summer, warm nights, thirsty, called out for Mum.... no reply, she walks out into the street, is run over by a drunk driver who, scared takes the body away in panic !!! This sounds less stupid than that "snatched to order" theory.
Not even Hollywood would come up with one like this --- The Morocco mafia (never knew there was one) came to the Algarve to snatch to order and Madeleine was in the wrong place at the wrong time. That Morocco mafia guy was observing the McCanns for several days and got lucky when they went for dinner and the McCanns just happen by accident to leave the front door unlocked. No wonder the Portuguese PJ-GNR have 40 questions. I would have only one to start with !

I honestly believe that this couple are incapable of emotion. Emotion is not something genuine people can switch on and off at will. Who has advised them to show no emotion? To be able to do so they must be very good actors. To show any emotion now would come across as totally false and stage managed.

pfft it all I can say to ppl....now theyre saying they are not showing enough emotion? what next? is gerry mcCann wearing the wrong socks again? let them grieve in their own way, its not a matter of personal response, its a matter of justice.

I cant believe that ppl think they sedated her.....since when was the sun reliable? they still want to sell newspapers people, wake up! they never sedated her it was just something someone dreamed up over their 11am break while at "The Sun" HQ. It has never been proved or even mentioned on BBC1 news.

If Kate and Gerry and the rest of the 'Tapas 9' have anything to 'let out' it should be the truth of what actually happened on the night of the 3rd May instead of the endless streamof lies they have been trying to peddle. Answer ALL the Police questions, and take a lie detector test,

I've never known a couple to take advice so much to heart and to so rigidly stick to what the police told them.

They have shown such true grit that not once has there even been the trace of a tear. Not one sign that they have lost their beloved daughter.

When they walk along the beach, followed by TV crews from all over the planet, the mask still doesn't slip. Not a tear. Ever.

The Barcelone agency investigating the case have just been on the BBC and they seem very confident that they know who it is, in which case i assume we will resolve this case soon. But saying on TV yes we are close will IMHO only serve ot stress the criminal and cause panic reaction - whyc may not be ideal for Maddy's safety,

Yes you could be right though I think they are holding back the tears as I'm sure they know a break through is near in this tragic case. I only Hope that if they do find Madeleine alive That she will not be scarred mentally or physically for the rest of her life. Give her comfort

It's really hard to come up with any emotions, when you're drugged-up to the gills with anti-stress pills....which is the only way to avoid breaking down and telling the TRUTH!
Oops! We can't have THAT happen, can we!........

Good question but I don't feel the McCann's are capable of this, to let it all out, you would need to have something inside and those two have the hearts of stone... but it would be interesting to see them try.... That's probably why they have always used that excuse because they know even crocodile tears would be difficult........
