It all depends on the size of your tank
but you can definately mix
at LEAST 3 female bettas with
female guppies
platies
cory cats ( bottom feeder)
mollies
neon tetras
short finned tetras
short finned danios.............

Hope that helps
Good luck

GOLDFISH CAN'T BE WITH ANY OTHER FISH EXPECT OTHER GOLDFISH even with a divider because they carry Lot's of disease and produce a lot of wast which would kill any other fish
i recommend 3 FEMALE NOT MALES FEMALE bettas and a few cory cats ( there fish)
and one mystery snail
( depends on your tank size)
e-mail me if you have any more questions or if you want to tell me how big your tank size is so i can give you the exact number of fish you can have in your tank =)

Female bettas and guppy's will do fine together.
Maybe some corys? How big is the tank?

If I were you I wouldnt listen to the fish store workers when they tell you that you can put the beta fish in with other fish as long as the other fish dont look like another beta, because I did that and the bata killed 6 fish on me all but the algae eater and bottom feeder. also you have to make sure you get either all aggressive fish or all community fish and goldfish have to be by themselves also.Ohh yeah dont get your fish from Bensons either. Make sure your ph levels are at about 7.0-7.2 for about a week b4 you even put the fish in the tank, and when you put them in let them float in the bag you bought them in for 15 minutes so they get used to the water temperature which should be about 78-80. Also 2 of the fish my beta killed were guppies, it kills other fish by biting their fins and then they get infected and die. I would go with aggressive fish because they look cooler.

I use to have a lot of guppies and it was so cute when baby guppies joined them in the tank! Goldfish are also perfect with some snails or a catfish

Depending on the size of the tank you have, I would get some tetras and barbs. If you get barbs, stay with the more peaceful of the species since they are vicious fin-nipper.

you can get goldfish if you slide dividers in the aquarium.
