Can you ship a Full CO2 Tank in the Mail or UPS?

I have a Paintball Gun that I'm looking to sell, are you allowed to ship a full CO2 tank in the mail or does it have to be empty? Thanks.

having sold liferafts ( which inflate with a CO2 tank) I can tell you from experience

For the post office: NO! I mean really NO!

For UPS / Fed Ex .....yes, IF you ship only by surface and as a Haz- Mat shipment. It will be REALLY expensive.

Nope, you will need to empty it..
