Dear Kim Bree,
The combination can be terrible, or sheer heaven!
I hate the canned corned beef! It should be made with a beef brisket and fresh cabbage. Add onions, potatoes and carrots to make a New England Boiled Dinner! You can also add other vegetables.
Recipes should be easy to find. This stuff can be great!

Yes I have tasted it and it is wonderful! The saltiness of the corn beef and the sweetness of the cabbage compliment each other very well. It is a true traditional Irish Dinner! (:

Personally, corned beef is pretty good. But I cannot stand cabbage - the only way I will eat cabbage is in egg rolls. Weird - I know.

Corned beef makes me want to vomit. Occasionallu it actually makes me vomit. I ate it twice at my grandmother's house when I was very little and I had nightmares for years. I'm a veggie now. But cabbage is nice!

Nope. I have never and will never eat corned beef, but, I love cabbage.
(I love my Irish ancestry, but I draw the line at corned beef.)

LOVE cornbeef especially in sandwiches but I can't stand the smell and taste of cooked cabbage. Any cooked veggies for that matter, which is why I eat them raw.

Sure. Great stuff if seasoned right. And if the corned beef (not corn) is lean and tender.
