I find it really ridiculous that I'm that big and I'm only 13. I ahve scoliosis too (back problem). Is there anyway I can get them reduced and say it's my back problem? My mom and I went bra shopping yesterday and found one that fits, but when we got home I realized the straps weren't tight enough and I was sagging, but I couldn't adjust them anymore. The maker doesn't make DD for a 34. It's sooo hard to find ones that fit and I can't take it anymore. I'm getting SO frustrated.
Is there a way my doctor can tell our insurance that the back problem is from my big chest and use the breast reduction to help my back?

You could. Go to your doctor and check it out.

You should be able to get it covered by insurance, as you are 13 and a DD.

If it is a heath problem, which it seems to me like it is, insurance might pay for it. But most of the time insurance see breast reduction as a cosmetic surgery not a health surgery.

It is not very uncommon anymore to see a young girl with bigger breast. At my school there was about half the girls there had CC to DD boobs when they started 7TH GRADE. It is just becoming normal for that to happen. And other girls are just nearly A when they graduate high school. It is all genetics on your size and everything.

Good Luck

Yes if your dr thinks it is necessary to have a reduction the ins will pay for it. My friend had really big ones and she had terrible back trouble and deep groves in her shoulders from bras and she went to her dr and started complaining and he sent her to a plastic surgery consult where they dertimned it was a necessity and her ins paid 100%. But on the onther hand your 13 meaning your not done growing and there is a chance that you will have to have it done again especially after having kids but yea they will pay for it.

you are actually to small to have a breast reduction, and a reduction can only be done when your finished growing, not before. i think you should be happy your big, most girls cry over this all night long.
