It was only ever made illegal to stop women having control over their own marketability. Why has it never been illegal for men to manipulate relationships with sex????

This is one of the last remaining crimes against women in our society and we dress it up as caring!...in fact the men who abuse and manipulate prostitutes should be lined up and shot...but that's not going to happen is it?...no. We are just going to sit around...a load of bleeding heart liberals and wring our hands about what we can do. All the time focusing on the women...never the men that cause it!

It should be legal. It has a market, it should be legal. The only reason it isn't is because of all the control freaks out there making all the noise. If you don't like prostitution don't purchase their services.

Prostitution is not unlawful in the UK, but soliciting is illegal.
There is a big difference between the glamorous life of a Belle du Jour type escort and women who work the streets of cities, 80% of whom were abused as children or brought up in care and 90% of whom are working to feed a drug habit. Maybe we need to fix the basics and the rest will sort itself.

It's a lot cheaper to not have a law on the books that you are expected to enforce. Think of how much money would be saved and wealth generated if we didn't have such strong drug laws and prostitution was legal.

I think it should be legal. Becuase why do the police care. Its really not hurting anyone. If someone wants to call a girl to their room they should be able to. At least escort services should be legal. The police suck for tryin to stop sumthing that is more powerful then them. They can not stop it.

legalise it, why the hell not! if the men and women work in safe places, have medicals regularly and pay taxes like everyone else who works, it'll take it off the streets which I'm sure the workers would appreciate, give the police more time to deal with proper criminals which I'm sure would make everyone happy, plus take the shame away something that's always gone on!

Of course it should be legalised and controlled then the girls can be protected and examined to ensure they are healthy which protects the customer.
