What games are like World of Warcraft other than Dungeon Runners and possibly payable or non payable?

Title says all really .
I'm looking for a WoW type game .
I've tried Dungeon Runners and it gets a little bit lame after a while
Anymore?

Dont give up WoW until you check out the free servers. The player run servers.

I havent tried them yet. In fact, Im just about to start WoW now that I see they have free servers popping up. I dont mind paying. But official servers just tend to be irritating. Too crowded, too easy, too newbie, too full of gankers and griefers

There are over 300 free servers for Ultima Online and that has kept that game alive for years longer than it would have stayed on my machine otherwise. Its gotten to the point that I now check the MMORPG Sites lists before buying a game to see if there are alternate servers available so I know that if I get ticked off at the player based before Im bored with the game that there are other options.

Yes i was going to say the same thing, get guild wars, i played wow and ive just recently started playing guild wars, it is REALY fun game, and has no monthly fees ^.^

But be sure when it asks you "roleplaying" or "pvp-only" to pick ROLEPLAYING, no fun in the pvp only. Its not like roleplaying/pvp in WoW, you cant do quests and level as pvp-only

Try Guild Wars. It is an RPG game and has nearly the same gameplay as WOW.
