Not if you want to get ahead, or be taken seriously in that company.
Getting trashed can look like you don't know how to handle yourself in public appropriately, and that you have issues with self-control.
Neither of which makes most bosses happy.

Just get a good buzz on, but not wasted.

I like to make sure the bosses are nice and hammered first. This way if they're already looped when I start drinking there's less of a likelihood that I'll be a bigger @$$ than them!

nah, but it sure is fun. they banned drinking last year....i got caught drinking on the job and let everyone else had an after party in one of the rooms. hehe.....
